About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion to join our team at Hong's Family. As a Companion, you will provide essential support and care to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

We are committed to supporting newcomers and refugees in their settlement journey. As a Companion, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives by:

  • Participating in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees
  • Assisting with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, and storage
  • Supporting social and labour market integration through language training, skills training, and mentorship programs
Support for Youths

  • Participating in government or community programs that support youth employment
