The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) oversees the regulation of the alcohol, gaming, horseracing, and private cannabis retail sectors in Ontario. The Digital Product Delivery - Product Development Team is in search of an experienced Lead Software Engineer for Oracle Fusion to enhance our dynamic team. Reporting to the Manager of Product Development, the successful applicant will be tasked with:
- Crafting, developing, implementing, and sustaining applications and solutions that meet AGCO's operational needs.
- Managing code submissions, creating deployment packages, and collaborating with infrastructure services to ensure code deployment across various environments.
- Advising, supporting, and mentoring Application Developers while working closely with IT and business stakeholders.
- Offering technical insights, evaluations, and realistic timelines for project planning and risk assessment.
- Conducting peer code evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
- Assisting the infrastructure services team with troubleshooting installations and configurations.
- Monitoring and verifying scheduled tasks to ensure essential business operations are executed.
- Addressing production challenges, performing root-cause analysis, and diagnostics.
- Identifying potential issues, conflicts, and risks, and developing mitigation strategies or escalating as necessary.
- Engaging in project discussions and contributing valuable insights and ideas.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4+ years of experience as an Oracle Fusion Developer, with a focus on ERP and EPM modules.
- Experience in multiple end-to-end implementations/support projects of Oracle.
- Proficient knowledge of Oracle Cloud modules (GL/CoA, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expense, Imaging/Web center, Control/Reporting).
- Understanding of integration using web services / REST API.
- Hands-on experience in Fusion cloud Financials modules and integration technologies.
- Strong relational database and P/SQL skills, with experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will undergo a criminal background check.
