Job Title: Associate Multimedia Content Creator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Multimedia Content Creator to join our dynamic team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our news operations, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of sports, news, e-commerce, and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create fast-paced, compelling, and informative news content for our digital properties and broadcast on our television and radio news programs.
  • Coordinate and deploy newsroom and field resources to gather elements and create news content.
  • Perform various control room duties, including pitching during daily creative brainstorms and story meetings.
  • Email, call, and interview people to chase, research, and create enterprise or breaking news content.
  • Develop innovative video content optimized for a digital audience.
  • Ensure that content is factually and grammatically correct.
Requirements:
  • Creative vision and keen editorial judgment.
  • Superior writing, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Shift work required, including regular weekend and evening shifts.
  • An appetite to learn and grow.
