Job Title: Construction Labourer

At HarbourMac Construction, we are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring a stable and even surface.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings, using heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the public.
Requirements:
  • Experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Work Environment:

As a Construction Labourer, you will work on various construction sites, including rural areas, logging sites, and construction sites. You will be required to work outdoors, often in noisy and dusty environments.

Work Schedule:

As a Construction Labourer, you will work a standard 40-50 hour workweek, with occasional overtime as required. You will be required to work on a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
