Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality counselling services to clients with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver goal-focused, therapeutic approaches to alleviate distress and improve social and occupational functioning.
  • Participate in team conferences to discuss clients' treatment plans and progress.
  • Provide quality reporting and effective communication with stakeholders.
Population Served

You will work with adults from various third-party insurers and programs, including Traumatic Psychological Injury, Motor Vehicle Accident Victims, Long Term Disability, and Partners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services.

Licensing and Experience
  • Fully licensed as an RCT with the Nova Scotia College of Registered Counselling Therapists or Social Worker registered with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers as an autonomous practitioner in good standing.
  • Experience in case conceptualization and treatment of mental health symptoms with adult clients.
  • Knowledge of psychological management of chronic pain and concussive syndrome is an asset.
