About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our Technology Team at BIS Safety Software. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge software platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Write, update, implement, and test software code to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Troubleshoot and debug software issues, focusing on high-priority bugs and providing ongoing support.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide ongoing technical guidance and support during development, ensuring that deliverables align with business and end-user needs.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, the technology team, management, and other stakeholders to gather and document user requirements from clients and stakeholders, converting these into technical specifications.
  • Long-term Development: Work on long-term development projects and infrastructure improvements in AWS and Azure environments.
  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to quality assurance and user testing.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with strong coding skills in front-end and backend technologies like ColdFusion, PHP,.NET, or Java.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and experience in debugging complex software issues.
  • Responsive Web Design: Significant experience in responsive web design and user interface (UI) development.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical issues in an understandable way.
  • Teamwork: Thrive in an open office, team-oriented environment where collaboration is key.
  • Development Skills: Familiarity with both front-end and back-end development, allowing you to contribute across the full stack.
