About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Technology Team at BIS Safety Software. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge software platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document user requirements, converting them into technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues, focusing on high-priority bugs and providing ongoing support.
  • Write, update, implement, and test software code, ensuring it meets business and end-user needs.
  • Manage workflow based on case priority levels set by the support and management teams.
  • Communicate case statuses, providing timely issue notifications, and recommending resolution strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during development, ensuring deliverables align with business and end-user requirements.
  • Act as a technical resource for clients, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring deliverables meet business and end-user needs.
  • Work on long-term development projects and infrastructure improvements in AWS and Azure environments.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and user testing.
  • Document code updates and enhance the user interface to improve customer experience.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with strong coding skills in front-end and backend technologies like ColdFusion, PHP,.NET, or Java.
  • Significant experience in responsive web design and user interface (UI) development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in debugging complex software issues.
  • Professional and positive attitude with a solution-based approach to challenges.
  • Adaptable, eager to learn, and comfortable with taking on new projects in a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex technical issues in an understandable way.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure is a plus.

  • Competitive salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience.
