Job Summary
We are seeking an Intermediate Process Engineer to support the growth of our Pharmaceutical projects. As a key member of our Process Engineering team, you will participate in process design and engineering activities for medium and large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Definition: Participate in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Analyze customer requirements to determine the optimal process to use.
- Process Design: Perform mass and energy balances, design and specify equipment, and calculate process utility requirements.
- Technical Planning: Prepare and execute technical plans and specifications, review and approve technical deliverables, and participate in risk analyses.
- Project Management: Establish project budgets and schedules, coordinate installation, start-up, validation, and maintenance of process equipment, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary project team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical or biotechnology engineering or other relevant specialty.
- 2 to 5 years of experience, preferably in the chemical or industrial industry.
- Knowledge of norms and standards (ISPE Guides; ASME-BPE).
- Experience in consulting engineering (asset).
- Member of the OIQ.
Assets
- Factory experience.
- Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD.
- Mobility – an asset.
- Experience with process simulation software such as Superpro Designer, Aspen Hysys, Pipe-Flo, HTRI.
