The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities at Best Western Plus Merritt Hotel. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a pristine environment.
  • Furniture Maintenance: Dust and clean all furniture to maintain a fresh atmosphere.
  • Carpet Care: Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Bedding Management: Make beds and change sheets regularly to ensure guest comfort.
  • Linen Management: Stock and organize the linen closet for efficient access.
  • Fixture Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items with care.
  • Guest Assistance: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items promptly.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain cleanliness.
  • General Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Window and Wall Care: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to enhance the overall appearance.
  • Facility Maintenance: Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a hygienic environment.
Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
