Job Title: Full-time Receptionist/Intake Worker

Yonge Street Mission is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Full-time Receptionist/Intake Worker to join our Shared Administrative Services Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service, handle reception duties, and support our community members in a warm and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff
  • Handle reception duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing mail
  • Support the community by providing information, referrals, and resources
  • Work collaboratively with the Shared Administrative Services Manager to achieve departmental goals
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a reception or administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
