Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team at Northern Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating patient response to physiotherapy treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement and evaluate treatment plans, making adjustments as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Licensed by the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to promote safe, competent, patient care
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the health care team
  • Ability to recognize and intervene appropriately in an emergency situation
  • Physical ability to perform duties of the position
