Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Brantford Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our building and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.
- Equipment Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, and be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
