Public Sector Auditor

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Staff Auditor - Public to join our team in Edmonton. As a Staff Auditor - Public, you will be responsible for performing audits, expense procedures, and financial disclosures, among other tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Develop and implement expense procedures to optimize financial management
- Prepare and review financial disclosures to ensure transparency and accountability
- Perform ad hoc duties as requested by management
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the public sector
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as accounting or finance
- Experience with Caseware or similar software is an asset
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and other financial software
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
