Job Title: Construction Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Senior Project Manager to join our team at Bird Construction Group.

Job Summary:

The Construction Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects from start to finish. This includes managing budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, and tradespeople.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets the required quality standards and is completed in accordance with relevant regulations and codes.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of construction professionals. Proficient in project management software and tools, including MS Project, Primavera, and Autodesk.
