Your Contributions

In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our FAST and AVOD streaming services. Our technology stack varies by platform, incorporating languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, .NET, HTML5, CSS, and a significant focus on JavaScript (primarily Angular and React). We value individuals who are eager to contribute across the entire system.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  2. 4+ years of professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
  3. 3+ years of experience in backend service development (Java, .NET is a plus)
  4. Proficiency in jQuery, XML, HTML, CSS
  5. Experience with JavaScript build tools and testing frameworks
  6. Strong UX sensibility
  7. Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies
  8. Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead projects
  10. Experience with device-specific middleware stacks on major Connected TV and Smart TV devices is advantageous

Your Competitive Advantage

  1. Extensive experience in video technology
  2. Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and client-side performance
  3. Experience with SQL/noSQL or Graph databases
  4. Knowledge of cloud-native application development (containerization, microservices, etc.)
  5. Familiarity with additional programming languages
  6. Understanding of Agile and DevOps principles, including test-driven development and continuous integration
  7. Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, etc.)
  8. Knowledge in Machine Learning, Machine Vision, Data Mining, or Artificial Intelligence
