Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our powertrain group, you will be responsible for the development and calibration of our 4-cycle engine and transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engine injection system adjustments to optimize polluting emissions, fuel savings, performance, and driving quality.
  • Collaborate with the development of powertrain group control software.
  • Coordinate and participate in optimization trials using a chassis dynamometer, track, and engine dynamometer.
  • Determine calibration methods to reduce development time and increase engine function robustness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or engineer's diploma in mechanical engineering, physics, science, thermodynamics, mechatronics, automation, or robotics.
  • Relevant experience in the development of internal combustion engines or mechatronic systems.
  • Knowledge of engine control strategies, including reduction of polluting emissions, performance, reliability, certification, and awareness of new technologies in the field of engines and vehicles.
  • Enthusiasm for motor sports and mechanics, dynamic, and motivated by new challenges.
  • Ability to communicate in French.
