Clinical Substance Use Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Substance Use Therapist to provide comprehensive clinical counseling and therapy to youth and adults with, or affected by, problematic substance use or addictions.

About the Role
  • Provide evidence-based clinical counseling and therapy to clients, utilizing a client-centered approach to address their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine client needs and develop effective treatment plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and interventions to promote client recovery and well-being.
  • Provide ongoing case consultation and support to clients, families, and caregivers, ensuring respect for client dignity and autonomy.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records, documenting assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in and lead team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
About the Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or other health-related or social science discipline.
  • Two (2) years' recent experience in addictions counseling or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
