Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular full-time Brand Management Specialist to become part of our dynamic Integrated Marketing team.
The Integrated Marketing team is tasked with crafting and implementing thorough, cohesive marketing strategies designed to enhance Canadian Blood Services' brand, broaden our donor base, and improve donor loyalty.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Brand Strategy, your role will involve formulating and executing brand strategies that elevate brand recognition and establish Canadian Blood Services as a prominent entity in the minds of employees, donors, volunteers, and the general public.
To accomplish this, you will align the organization with the brand strategy, motivate and engage internal and external brand advocates, and assess key brand performance metrics to ensure that desired outcomes are achieved.
Leveraging your strategic insight and project management skills, you will create and implement comprehensive brand strategies that promote the mission and values of the organization, while overseeing all facets of branding, including brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
Utilizing your strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities, you will exemplify leadership in embodying the brand and act as the brand subject matter expert, offering guidance to all organizational areas, external agencies, and partners on the appropriate application of the brand.
Drawing on your strategic vision and communication prowess, you will help animate the brand for employees, fostering a sense of connection with our mission and values, and integrating the brand into their daily activities.
Employing your creativity and strategic marketing expertise, you will assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, public relations efforts, and social media strategies to enhance brand visibility.
Utilizing your brand management capabilities, you will oversee the creation, maintenance, and implementation of brand guidelines to ensure a consistent and compelling brand presence across all materials and channels.
By applying your research and analytical skills, you will monitor and evaluate brand performance metrics to gauge the effectiveness of brand initiatives and overall brand health.
You will prepare and present regular reports on brand performance and strategy to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for enhancement and growth.
Qualifications:- University degree in Marketing or Corporate Communications; a master's degree is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Communications (reputation management, internal/external communications) and/or Marketing.
- Essential experience in corporate brand management, with a preference for both internal and external audiences.
- Exceptional understanding of brand management strategies, concepts, and practices.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with senior leadership and across various functions.
- Proven history of managing complex projects with substantial budgets and strong project management skills.
- Strong capabilities in strategic thinking, tactical execution, financial analysis, and performance measurement.
