Job Title: Corporate Financial Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Financial Strategist to join our team at Queen's University. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the long-term financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to optimize financial performance
  • Coordinate financial operations and budget activities to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Review and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
  • Design and manage investment strategies to maximize returns
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data to inform business decisions
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Advise senior management on financial matters and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or accounting
  • 5 years or more of experience in a financial role, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
