Dr. Brenda Karen Selwyn is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Physician to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Family Physician to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other medical professionals to identify diseases and injuries.
- Examine patients' health conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
- Administer budget and supervise staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Report births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other health-related information to government authorities.
- Provide emergency care, counseling, and support to patients and their families.
- Supervise home care services and perform human resources-related duties such as personnel selection.
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Criminal record check
