Job Description
BMO is currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for a contract position.
BMO Capital Markets is in search of a Senior QA professional with strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of collaborating effectively with both technology and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, technical design documents, and other project artifacts to determine the testing scope and effort.
- Prepare and review the Test Strategy and Test Plan based on project requirements.
- Create and review test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage and traceability.
- Define test data and environment requirements in alignment with project specifications.
- Execute test cases and document results and evidence in the designated test management tool.
- Log defects into the defect management tool with clear descriptions, adhering to documented processes.
- Conduct regular test status meetings for defect triage and track test execution status.
- Identify risks and escalate issues promptly. Communicate and address scope or schedule changes that may impact testing cycles.
- Provide clear and concise reporting on test status and defect metrics to management.
- Support business acceptance and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with Software Developers and Leads to understand project objectives and outline testing requirements for automation.
- Assist in developing automation frameworks and creating and automating test cases.
- Manage the review and sign-off of all QA documentation with business and technology stakeholders.
- Comply with BMO's testing processes, including tools usage and test methodologies.

Quality Assurance: 10 years (Required)
Automation Testing (Selenium): 10 years (Required)
SQL Database: 10 years (Required)
Robot Framework: 10 years (Required)
Banking/Financial Industry: 10 years (Required)
