WTW is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our CRB Graduate Development Program as a Broking Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to develop a broad knowledge base, varied skills, and diverse network.

Program Overview

The CRB Graduate Development Program is a non-rotational two-year-program designed to provide graduates with a well-rounded understanding of the industry while having the opportunity to deep dive within their respective business area.

Broking Placement Overview

Our Broking teams deliver superior results for our clients' business and risk management needs through deep industry-specific expertise. As a Broking Analyst, you will work closely with clients to assess and evaluate their risks, prepare and send out submissions, liaise with markets, analyze exposures, and negotiate quotations.

Responsibilities

  1. Gather information and analytics to assess and evaluate client risks.
  2. Create Loss Summaries, review program binders for accuracy, and check policies.
  3. Prepare draft submission documents and finalize submissions for delivery.
  4. Review quotes against specifications and develop side-by-side comparisons.
  5. Prepare program proposals and develop client and prospect presentations.
  6. Assist on any deliverables for Client Renewal Strategy Meeting & RFPs.
  7. Research market solutions to learn how to identify and develop optimum risk solutions for clients.
  8. Facilitate initial introductions to carrier and trading partners.
  9. Begin your understanding of core insurance principles and brokerage concepts.
  10. Ensure that quality and compliance procedures and processes are adhered to.
  11. Record and maintain all information accurately on the appropriate systems.
  12. Obtain the required insurance license within ninety (90) days of your date of hire.
  13. Obtain and maintain an active surplus lines license for your resident state within 120 days of either your date of hire or obtaining your resident state insurance license.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of risk management principles and a passion for developing your skills and knowledge in this area.
