Collaboration with the Principal team will be essential, keeping them informed on all project developments while ensuring your team is aligned with goals, milestones, and deliverables. You will act as the liaison between client expectations and project results, ensuring that every project not only meets but surpasses client satisfaction, all while maintaining a focus on profitability.

Position Overview

As a Senior Project Architect, your objective is to deliver exceptional architectural designs that distinguish themselves. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design Leadership: Oversee the design process from inception to completion, guaranteeing the highest standards in every project.
  • Project Management: Ensure project timelines are maintained by managing scope, schedules, and financial performance.
  • Team Coordination: Develop project plans, delegate tasks, and ensure timely delivery from your team.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage profitability, invoicing, and accounts receivable, providing critical insights during project health assessments.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold design and technical excellence by adhering to our quality assurance processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the Marketing Lead and Principals to create proposals and presentations, actively engaging in securing new projects.
  • Mentorship: Guide, train, and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of growth and creativity.
  • Client Interaction: Ensure client satisfaction by providing practical, cost-effective solutions that maintain design integrity.
CHARACTERISTICS & SKILLS
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in architecture with eligibility for registration.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a talent for coaching and mentoring.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively guide projects and teams.
  • In-depth understanding of project management, including scope, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • A mature, innovative approach to addressing architectural challenges.
  • A solid technical background, particularly in Revit, is advantageous.
  • A passion for creative thinking and problem-solving.
  • Excellent sketching, computer, and conceptual design abilities.
  • Proven track record in leading architectural teams to success.
