Job Description

Lemay is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our team in Edmonton. As a trusted advisor to clients, you will be responsible for managing projects, technical details, and delivering on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of project execution and delivery, including client communications, design, production of plans/specifications, quality control, consultant coordination, and project budgets and invoices.
  • Lead coordination and technical understanding of project deliverables, including working with architects, designers, engineers, and required consultants.
  • Engage project stakeholders regularly by keeping them informed of delivery progress, risks, and issues, as well as managing expectations on deliverables.
  • Support design continuity and internt during construction administration phases by working with the CA team leading that phase of work.
  • Coordinate and collaborate on-site with clients, external consultants, contractors, and vendors as needed, per project.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in architecture, and Professional Practice License.
  • 3-5 years of experience in design and architecture.
  • Registered Architect Membership in good standing with a Canadian architectural association, preferably AIBC, AAA, MAA, SAA, OAQ, or OAA.
  • Strong skills in Project delivery through Concept Design to Tender.
  • Strong knowledge of various construction methodologies, project management models, and financial management, as well as building codes, contract law, and relevant legislation.
