Accounting Professional

Stonehaven Realty Management Inc. is seeking a diligent and experienced part-time bookkeeper to support our commercial properties and corporate operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing comprehensive accounting support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Bank reconciliations, accounts payable processing, and tax compliance.
- Management of cash flow, distributions, and tenant/vendor chargebacks.
- Year-end operating cost reconciliations and record maintenance for tenant improvements and capital expenditures.
- Assisting in budget preparation, financial analysis, and supporting property management with financial matters.
- Monthly HST reporting and corporate payroll.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in commercial real estate accounting.
- Proficiency in Yardi Property Management software or similar software.
- Experience with Sage cloud accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
