Stonehaven Realty Management Inc. is seeking a diligent and experienced part-time bookkeeper to support our commercial properties and corporate operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing comprehensive accounting support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Bank reconciliations, accounts payable processing, and tax compliance.
  • Management of cash flow, distributions, and tenant/vendor chargebacks.
  • Year-end operating cost reconciliations and record maintenance for tenant improvements and capital expenditures.
  • Assisting in budget preparation, financial analysis, and supporting property management with financial matters.
  • Monthly HST reporting and corporate payroll.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in commercial real estate accounting.
  • Proficiency in Yardi Property Management software or similar software.
  • Experience with Sage cloud accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
