Job Description

As a Product Engineer- Analyst-Sustaining, you will play a key role in supporting the Product Chief Engineer (PCE) in defining project objectives, milestones, schedules, and costs. You will work on focused projects or work packages involving multiple functions, ensuring the successful delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct project activities in accordance with Project Management principles and company procedures.
  • Manage project objectives on behalf of the PCE, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Liaise with functions and report to the PCE, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Support the PCE in challenging solutions proposed by Engineering functions, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Propose actions to improve product performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Manage the repair process for products, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate engineering activities with the Customer Services Team to resolve major in-service problems.
  • Conduct Product Improvement projects identified by the Chief Engineers Office, ensuring successful implementation and delivery.
  • Manage product evolution in response to customer or internal requirements, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Coordinate CMM updates to improve repair process performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor Design-To-Specification development and Qualification, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Support requirement validation and verification activities during development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering Physics, or Engineering Science).
  • Aerospace engineering background, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiating skills.
  • Problem-solving skills, with a take-charge approach to meeting deadlines.
  • Able to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Landing gear technical knowledge.
  • Experience in Project Management and Lean-Sigma is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Airworthiness rules is an asset.
