This role is integral to the largest segment within RBC Wealth Management, specifically in Global Asset Management.
RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) serves as the investment management arm of the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). It offers a comprehensive range of investment management services and solutions to individual, high-net-worth, and institutional clients through various investment vehicles including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, hedge funds, and specialized investment strategies. With over $600 billion in client assets under management and a workforce exceeding 1,700 employees across Canada, the United States, Europe, and Asia, RBC GAM is a leader in the industry.
This position will support the Global Asset Management Finance team by assisting in planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and project-related initiatives. The role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders located in multiple cities, providing valuable insights and actionable financial information to enhance performance and drive shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the current year’s forecast, including the development of presentation materials and financial analyses for senior leadership to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Support the planning and execution of significant business and finance projects.
- Contribute to the generation of key driver-based reports covering aspects such as revenue, assets, clients, investment teams, products, and fees.
- Participate in documenting essential finance processes and procedures, including Performance Management, Financial Control, and Financial Reporting activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and automation, along with actionable implementation plans.
Qualifications

- Background in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret and succinctly summarize complex topics.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Banking or Asset Management sectors.
