About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team at EllisDon. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of large complex projects from design to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall construction management, including design, budget, and schedule coordination with project stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery.
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team's ongoing progress.
  • Ensure construction compliance with design requirements and project construction schedules by supervising and coordinating site trades, other site management, field engineering, and construction activities.
  • Mentor project team members to promote career growth and development.

Requirements:

  • A construction-related degree and 6 to 8 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience working on large commercial projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes, produce workable solutions, and lead a large team to successful completion.
  • Experience working in a team environment and providing mentorship and guidance to the site team.
