We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Glazier Supervisor to join our team at Blackline Aluminum Systems. Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Coordinate and schedule installation activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of 5-10 glaziers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure high-quality installation standards are met, and address any quality issues promptly.
- Material Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular risk assessments and implementing measures to mitigate hazards.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with project managers, clients, and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glazing operations or a related field
- Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills
This is a permanent, full-time position working 32.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic, able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
