Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at Woodogre Contracting Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our properties, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, raking and collecting refuse, and repairing and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants
  • Rake and collect refuse, and dispose of it properly
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including chain saws, pick-up trucks, and weed trimmers/edgers
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
  • Remove trees and other vegetation as required
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot, wet, and noisy environments.
