Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Roofing Supervisor to join our team at Valad Roofing & Construction Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of roofing systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise and coordinate roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of roofers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to inspect work in progress and ensure that it meets our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members follow health and safety protocols and procedures, and report any incidents or near-misses to management.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. construction management, engineering).
  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in roofing supervision or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work at heights, and knowledge of roofing materials and techniques.
  • Certifications: Valid certifications in roofing and construction safety.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and stand for long periods.
