About Your New Role

Herschel Supply Co. is seeking a skilled Sales Associate to join our dynamic Retail team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers.

A Day in the Life

Our workplace is a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment where we pride ourselves on being open-minded, imaginative, and supportive. As a Sales Associate, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Welcome customers to the store and provide a personalized shopping experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge to assist customers with their queries and make recommendations.
  • Effectively communicate the features, advantages, and benefits of our products to customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of in-store stock availability and ensure that the store is well-stocked and organized.
  • Assist with receiving and processing stock from our warehouse, including unpacking, scanning, and placing products on the sales floor.
  • Participate in re-stocking and pricing duties, including sale preparation as required.
  • Ensure that items from the change rooms are returned to their designated area.
  • Complete assigned clean-up duties.
  • Utilize our Point-of-Sale system and Mobile Point of Sale System to process payments, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Stay informed about new product launches, trends, and initiatives.
  • Participate in staff training and store events as required.

Availability

We expect all part-time employees to be available for opening and closing shifts a minimum of three times per week. All employees must be available at least one full weekend day. Part-time is 25 hours or less per week. However, depending on customer volume, we can allocate full-time hours to support the business. This is a seasonal position, September - November / December, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Hourly Wage

$18.40 per hour, depending on experience.
