Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bus Operations Supervisor to join our team at Signature Charters Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bus fleet, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Bus Drivers and Operations
    • Direct and manage the activities of bus drivers and other transportation staff
    • Monitor and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of bus operations
  • Coordinate Scheduling and Dispatch
    • Develop and implement scheduling and dispatch procedures to ensure timely and efficient service
    • Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance
    • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure the well-being of passengers and staff
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Manage Maintenance and Repairs
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of bus fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of bus drivers and other transportation staff
    • Coach and mentor staff to improve performance and job satisfaction
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance
    • Develop and implement performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of bus operations
    • Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the transportation industry
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Valid driver's license
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
