Job Title: Bus Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bus Operations Manager to join our team at Signature Charters Inc.

Job Summary:

The Bus Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bus fleet, ensuring that all routes are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes supervising bus drivers, coordinating routes, and managing the logistics of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of bus drivers to ensure that all routes are running on schedule and that drivers are following company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and schedule bus routes to ensure that all passengers are transported safely and efficiently.
  • Manage the logistics of our transportation operations, including dispatching bus drivers and monitoring routes.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that our buses are maintained in good working condition.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.
  • Co-ordinate repairs and rentals of buses as needed.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as required.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
