Job Title: Telecommunications Technician

At Smart Telecom and Automation solutions, we are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Equipment Repair: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
  • Network Testing: Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults and analyze test results to adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software.
  • Customer Service: Complete and maintain test and service reports, and determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
