Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Specialist to join our team at AMAR TELECOM LTD. As a Telecommunications Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, arranging, removing and maintaining telephone equipment, wiring and associated hardware. You will also diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove and maintain telephone equipment, wiring and associated hardware.
  • Equipment Repair: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults and complete and maintain test and service reports.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and ensure that customer needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Work Environment

As a Telecommunications Specialist, you will work in a variety of settings, including urban and rural areas, and may be required to work at heights or in confined spaces.
