About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Stores Security team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining secure endpoint connectivity solutions that protect our customer data and ensure the integrity of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop secure endpoint connectivity solutions that meet the needs of our global customer base
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities
  • Develop and implement algorithms and security practices to protect sensitive customer data
  • Work with our engineering teams to build and deploy scalable, distributed services that meet our high availability and reliability standards
  • Contribute to the development of our security best practices and standards
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Experience with cloud-based services and technologies
  • Strong understanding of security principles and practices
