Research Director Job Description

Grasslands Recruitment Specialists is seeking a highly skilled Research Director to lead research projects for a Non-Profit in Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement research projects, including setting priorities and collaborating with researchers.
  • Coordinate field research activities, such as seeding, treatment applications, data collection, and quality control.
  • Analyze data, prepare reports, and write peer-reviewed manuscripts.
  • Transfer research findings to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Collaborate with agricultural organizations to share relevant information.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree (asset).
  • Effective communication skills with the research community and producers.
  • Expertise in experimental research design and statistical analyses.
  • ARM (Agriculture Research Management) computer program knowledge (asset).
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint expertise.
  • Field research experience with small plot equipment operation and a valid driver's license.
