Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Operate and maintain vehicles, including pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
