The Role: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for various software applications across different platforms.
  • Design and implement automated tests using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers to analyze and resolve reported issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing principles.
  • Experience with various testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, and gray-box testing.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python).
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
