Clinical Development Physician, Immuno-Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Physician to join our team at Astellas Pharma Inc. as a Development Physician, Immuno-Oncology. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge clinical trials in immuno-oncology and contribute to the development of innovative treatments for patients.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute clinical trials in immuno-oncology, ensuring timely and high-quality data delivery.
- Provide medical monitoring and safety expertise to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including clinical operations, medical writing, and regulatory teams.
- Contribute to the development of clinical trial budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Participate in scientific and medical training to other team members and external clients, investigators, and site staff as needed.
- MD or MD/PhD with oncology fellowship complete and board certification.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in clinical trial design and execution, with a focus on immuno-oncology.
- Proven track record of designing clinical trials that produce high-quality data in a timely manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience working in global teams and a global matrixed, remote working environment.
- Extensive experience in gastroesophageal or thoracic oncology or immuno-oncology in solid tumors.
- Prior clinical research experience in an academic setting.
- Experience in all phases of Clinical Development and interfaces with Drug Discovery through Marketing.
