Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and acknowledging every customer with respect and courtesy.
- Approach each interaction with appreciation and genuine care, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported.
- Pet Care and Sales
- Assist customers in selecting the best products and services for their pets, providing expert knowledge and recommendations.
- Support sales and customer service goals, working collaboratively with the store team to achieve overall store performance objectives.
- Store Operations
- Assist with operational processes, including maintaining inventory, completing floor moves, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Help implement strategic corporate initiatives and maintain the stability and reputation of the store.
- Leadership and Teamwork
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and positive attitude in the workplace, setting a positive example for colleagues.
- Recognize and reward successful performance, providing feedback and coaching to support team members in achieving their goals.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Working knowledge of POS systems and ability to use technology effectively.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and sales skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
