**Job Summary:
The Nurse Clinician works collaboratively with the supervisor for Street Health and Sexual Health Programs to provide high-quality patient care and services. The successful candidate will integrate advanced level skills and knowledge in sexually transmitted infections and blood-borne pathogens, contraception, and adult learning and harm reduction principles.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct client service, including client needs assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of STIs, and provision of contraceptives.
- Train and orient new staff in several areas, including client needs assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of STIs, and provision of contraceptives.
- Update work standards and policies to align with best practice and provincial guidelines.
- Clinical coordination of outreach and fixed-site services, notification, and contact tracing.
- Client and staff education/orientation, resource development, and participation in research for the target population.
**Requirements:
- Five (5) years nursing experience in the specific clinical area.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate (TDG).
- CNA certificate in clinical practice area is an asset.
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
- Master of Nursing is acceptable.

- Knowledge in population and public health concepts.
- Knowledge in Continuous Quality Improvement program development and delivery.
- Knowledge in database management.

- Demonstrates knowledge of multiple health promotion strategies.

- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Provincial posting open to SUN members - SUN/SAHO CBA Articles 27.02 and 27.05.
- Travel within the region and provincially.
