About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team in a private home setting. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and attention to infants and children in a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education: Develop and implement engaging activities and games to promote cognitive and motor skill development in children.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized living space, including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping duties.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Transportation: Safely transport children to and from school, appointments, and other activities.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, including administering medication and providing first aid when necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Private home.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
