The Produce department is essential to Metro's success, emphasizing freshness, availability, and quality standards. The Fresh Produce Associate is tasked with preparing produce items for retail presentation and ensuring they are safe and hygienic for customer purchase. Additionally, you will engage with customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
If you are passionate about customer service and the food sector, our Produce department is eager to welcome you.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to restock products and create appealing displays
- Excellent product knowledge and keen attention to detail
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
