Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at Conseil Cri de la Santé et des Services Sociaux de la Baie James (CCSSSBJ). The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate and confidential medical records, reports, and requests for analyses.
- Enter data into computer applications and print out documents for distribution to personnel and service users.
- Deal with service users, book appointments, and receive and forward messages to personnel and service users.
- Handle mail, write correspondence, and update filing of records.
- Collaborate with partners, affiliated organizations, and other members of the organization handling medical information.
- Digitize and classify user information.
- High School Diploma.
- One (1) year of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, office software, and administrative regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and independently.
Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Cree or French is an asset.
OtherOccasional extra hours outside of regular shift may be required for projects. Telework may be available.
