We are seeking a qualified Elementary French and Coverage Teacher to join our team at the Durham District School Board.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French and providing coverage for Junior and Primary grades. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French language and culture, as well as experience in teaching and working with students of diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach French to students in Junior and Primary grades
  • Provide coverage for other subjects such as Drama and Dance
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in French as a Second Language (FSL)
  • Experience in teaching and working with students of diverse backgrounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
