Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Assistant to join our team at Doitright Plumbing Heating. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Assist in the installation of new plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Help diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and other problems.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare work sites for plumbing installations, including clearing debris and ensuring safe working conditions.
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials as needed.
  • Equipment Operation: Assist in the operation of plumbing equipment, including pumps, valves, and other machinery.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the plumbing industry is an asset.
  • Certifications: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training, Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, Confined Space Entry Training, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures.
