We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service establishment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Hire and supervise food service staff, including food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen helpers.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise staff to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment:

Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

35 hours per week.
