Job Title: Marketing Specialist - Pharmacy & Health

About the Role:

The Marketing Specialist - Pharmacy & Health is a key member of the marketing team responsible for executing national and regional integrated marketing programs that contribute to the growth of related Rexall businesses and brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on pharmacy marketing programs that support the brand strategy, including brief development, creative evaluation, approval process, tactical execution, and store communications.
  • Engage cross-functional partners, including Marketing, Pharmacy Services, Operations, Finance, and external agency partners, to activate programs that support marketing priorities.
  • Assist with management and execution of project tracking and budgeting for marketing calendars, business updates, and quarterly updates.
  • Act as the digital lead on behalf of pharmacy & health teams, refining relevant online content and developing net new content supporting each monthly pharmacy theme and all business requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group ULC.

Requirements:

  • University or college degree in business, marketing, or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job and businesses marketed.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in pharmacy and/or marketing.
  • Preference given to experience in the area of pharmacy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build partnerships to effectively source information, obtain approvals, and build relationships.
  • Creative problem-solving, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, strong project management skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects to set and manage priorities to meet deadlines, all within a multi-tasking environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong writing and presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital and standard marketing channels.
  • Self-starter.
